Dungannon Murder Victim Named
The PSNI has named a man who was stabbed to death in the early hours of Thursday 1 August in the Woodvale Park area of Dungannon as 36-year-old Luis Nazario Ximenes.
Mr Ximenes, originally from East Timor, had been living and working in Dungannon.
Another 34-year-old man, also thought to be from East Timor, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
He remains in custody and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
It has been reported that the two men knew each other prior to the incident.
A special incident room has been established at Dungannon Police Station. Anyone who can assist with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Incident Room on 028 8775 0559.
Alternatively, people can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.
