Men Tied Up In Maghera Robbery

Two men were tied up and bound during a robbery at a house in Maghera on Wednesday.

A gang of men, one believed to be armed with a gun and a knife, entered a property in the Tobermore Road area at around 8.45pm.

A 47-year-old man was tied up and a second man, aged 51, was also tied up when he arrived at the house a short time later.

Money, laptops and personal items were stolen by the robbers.

The gang made off in a black Mercedes, however it was later discovered in Brough Road, Castledawson.

The two victims suffered minor injuries and were left badly shaken.

Women Tied Up During Robbery
Two women have been tied up by a gang of masked men during a burglary in Portrush. At around 10pm on Thursday, five armed men entered a property in Hopefield Gardens. The women were tied up by the gang, who then ransacked the property. It is not yet clear if anything was taken from the home.

Glengormley couple tied up during robbery
A couple in their 60's have been robbed in their home in Newtownabbey. The incident, which happened on Wednesday night, was only reported to police yesterday. A gang of up to four men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, forced their way into their home on the Hightown Road in Glengormley at around 9.30pm.

Teenage Girl And Man Tied Up
A teenage girl and a man have been tied up during a burglary at a property in Carnlough in County Antrim. Police are investigating the incident, in which two men broke into the Croft Avenue house at about midday on Wednesday. A 56-year-old man was punched in the face after being confronted in the hallyway of his home by the intruders.

Five Men Charged Following Cannabis Find
Five men have been charged after police discovered a cannabis factory in County Down. They were arrested as part of an ongoing investigation as part of an organised crime gang, according to police. Approximately £350,000 of drugs were seized from a factory in Castlewellan on Tuesday. Vehicles with the value of over £100,000 were also taken.
