Teenage Girl And Man Tied Up
A teenage girl and a man have been tied up during a burglary at a property in Carnlough in County Antrim.
Police are investigating the incident, in which two men broke into the Croft Avenue house at about midday on Wednesday.
A 56-year-old man was punched in the face after being confronted in the hallyway of his home by the intruders. He then had his hands tied together with cable ties.
A 17-year-old girl who was in another room of the house at the time was also tied up by the thieves. The men demanded money but it is thought they left the scene empty handed after trashing the property.
They then left down an alley in the direction of Croft Grove.
The attackes are believed to be aged in their 40s. One is said to have been wearing a check shirt, while the other was described as having a receding hairline.
