Man Seriously Injured After Being Attacked With Iron Bar
A man has been left seriously injured after he was beaten with an iron bar in Coleraine.
The attack happened after two men broke into a house at Glebe Avenue on Monday night.
The 46-year-old victim is currently in hospital.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

An investigation has launched after a man was attacked by a gang armed with an armed bar in L'Derry. The incident happened at an alleyway in the Cooke Street/Corporation Street area just after 10pm on Friday, 07 September. The victim sustained a fractured eye socket and bruising to his body.

Courier attacked with iron bar
Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked outside a bank in north Belfast early this morning. The victim, a courier and in his 40s, was delivering mail to the bank on York Street when he was approached from behind by four men.

Man Jailed In Connection With Annahilt Cannabis Farm
The PSNI has welcomed the sentencing of a man at Craigavon Crown Court in connection with a cannabis farm disovered in Annahilt in February, 2023. Clive Weir, from the Annahilt area, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months on licence.

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Organised Crime Unit, in partnership with Belfast Harbour Police, have made a significant breakthrough in their fight against drug crime. On Friday evening, November 22nd, a vehicle was intercepted and searched in the West Bank Road area of north Belfast.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.
