PSNI Investigate Sudden Death In Belfast
Police are investigating the sudden death of a man in west Belfast.
Kevin Doherty, 30, was taken to hospital from a property in the Ross Street area, close to the Falls Road, on Tuesday.
He died shortly after.
It is understood he was at party in the area at the time.
Two other men who are believed to have attended the same party were treated in hospital.
Police are awaiting the results of a post-mortem and toxicology reports, and it is not known whether drugs or alcohol are linked to the death.
The police added the representatives that investigations into the death were ongoing and at an early stage therefore it would be inappropriate to comment further.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

An investigation has been launched into the sudden death of a man in Doagh, Co Antrim. Police were called to commercial premises on the Kilbride Road at about 21:00 on Tuesday. It is understood that a 57-year-old man has died. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Roads death toll rises after Co Antrim crash
A man has died following a serious road accident on the Glenavy Road in Co Antrim. The accident involved a car and lorry on Wednesday afternoon. The road was closed for a time and traffic was diverted from the area. Police investigating the collision are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Lisburn station on 028 9266 5212.
