Letter Bomb Sent To Chief Constable
A letter bomb has been found at a postal sorting office in Mallusk, Co Antrim.
The suspect device was discovered in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police have since confirmed the device was addressed to the PSNI Chief Constable, Matt Baggott at police headquarters.
An army bomb team was sent to the scene to make the device safe.
Police have issued a warning for the public to remain vigilant, and to report anything that looks suspicious.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Bomb Alert Underway Near Antrim Road
There's a fresh bomb alert this afternoon with the Limestone Road in north Belfast closed at its junction with Mountcollyer Avenue and York Road after a suspicious object was found. Police have said about 50 houses on Mountcollyer Avenue and some businesses on York Road have been evacuated.

Suspect package declared a hoax
A suspect device found in north Belfast on Friday has been declared a hoax. The package was discovered at a telephone control box on Glenview Street. Army bomb experts were immediately called in and the area between Old Park Road and Park View Court was immediately sealed off. It has since been reopened.

Weekend Bomb Attacks Condemned
A spate of bomb attacks over the weekend has been condemned by the First and deputy First Minister and parties across the political spectrum. A police patrol was attacked with a pipe bomb in County Tyrone on Saturday. A security alert began in the Ballycolman estate, Strabane, at about 20:25, following news that something had been thrown at police.
