Man Shot In Alleyway
A man has been shot in an alleyway in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.
The victim, understood to be 33 years of age, was shot in the leg.
He was taken to hospital to receive treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The incident happened in an alleyway at Forthill Grove at around 8.30pm on Tuesday night.
Police have been told that two men, both dressed in black clothing, carried out the shooting.
Anyone with information has been asked to contact police.

A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. The incident happened on Thursday night. The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
