Man suffers gun shot wounds to knees

Police are appealing for information following a paramilitary style attack on a man in south Belfast last night.

The 21-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to both knees during the attack at the rear of Tate's Avenue at around 10pm on Monday.

He was immediately taken to hospital for treatment on his injuries.

North Belfast Stabbing Believed To Be Racially-Motivated Attack
Police have issued an appeal for information following a stabbing incident in north Belfast, which is believed to have been racially-motivated. A man, aged in his 30s, was found collapsed inside a vehicle on the Antrim Road just before 1am on Saturday 15 January. He had suffered a number of stab wounds to his chest and abdomen.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A man has been hospitalised for facial wounds after he was slashed across the face in a late night attack in north Belfast. The victim was attacked on the Cliftonville Road at 9.30pm on Wednesday evening, 10 April.

Man receives gun shot wounds in Derry attack
A man and woman who were badly injured following an assault in Londonderry had been abducted hours before in County Westmeath. The 42-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were found at High Park in Creggan at around 5:00am. They had been taken from their home in Mullingar between 8:00pm and 9:00pm on Monday evening and driven more than 120 miles.

Man suffers serious head wounds in attack
Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured during an assault in north Belfast on Tuesday. The man, who suffered serious wounds to the head, was found at a house in Kinnard Street off the Antrim Road at around 4am.
