22-Year-Old Arrested After Bomb Found In Holdall
Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with an improvised explosive device found in a holdall on Thursday night.
Officers found the devices in a sportsbag in the Shaws Road area of West Belfast, and the man was arrested later when police stopped him out walking.
The bomb is being forensically examined and police appealed for anybody with information to contact them.

Man arrested in connection with 1981 murder
Detectives investigating the murder of a nine-year-old girl in Co Down nearly 25 years ago have today arrested a man on suspicion of her murder. Jennifer Cardy was discovered dead by two fishermen at McKee's Dam near Hillsborough in 1981 after being snatched as she cycled to a friend's house on 12 August that same year.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Drugs finds in north and east Belfast
A quantity of drugs with an estimated street value of £70,000 have been recovered in Belfast. The Police Service of Northern Ireland's drugs squad recovered a substantial haul of cannabis resin in a house at the junction of Kylemore Park and Ballysillan Road in north Belfast at about 8.30pm on Wednesday, January 30.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation after a viable device was found under a car in north Belfast in October 2015. The man has been detained under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite to be questioned.

Police have launched an investigation into the death of a man in Bangor. The 68 year-old male was found dead at his home in Birch Drive. His death is being treated as suspicious. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
