Officers conducted the search at a property in the Tassagh Road area as part of ongoing cooperation with An Garda Síochána, who are leading a related investigation in Monaghan. Police confirmed that enquiries are continuing, and they are exploring a potential link between this search and a security alert that occurred in the Ballyards Road area of Milford, Armagh, on Tuesday, 1 July 2025.

Detective Inspector Winters appealed for public assistance, stating: “Our enquiries are continuing in relation to this investigation, as we work closely with our colleagues from An Garda Síochána.
