197 Job Losses At Teletech
Alliance Belfast Castle representative Nuala McAllister has expressed her sadness that 197 jobs at the call centre company Teletech have been lost after they lost a major contract for Nissan.
Nuala McAllister said: "This is extremely sad news that 197 jobs have been lost. This will be devastating news for the employees and their families.
"While we have seen some small signs of economic growth in recent months, this announcement has shown how fragile our economy can be.
"I hope that these employees will receive support from the Executive to regain employment or enter retraining."
