Damages Awarded Over Delays In Inquests
Damages have been awarded to six families of men killed by police, soldiers or loyalist paramilitaries.
It is understood that awards of £7,500 is to be paid to the families as compensation for unlawful delays in the holding of inquests.
According to reports, the High Court ruled that damages were "necessary for the frustration, distress and anxiety suffered by the next of kin."
According to a report by the BBC, the ruling is considered a "landmark verdict" and it is thought that it could "open the floodgates" for a number of other claims.

Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th. At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot.

Arson Attack On 5G Mast In West Belfast
Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.
