Belfast Music Venue Announces Closure
The Stiff Kitten nightclub on Bank Square on the Dublin Road has closed, Shine Productions announced on Wednesday.
Shine, which opened the venue in 2005, revealed the news in a post to their Facebook page, stating that the venue needed "substantial reinvestment" but that they were unable "to get the reassurances needed" from the building's landlord to continue to commit to the venture.
Shine Production own a number of venues throughout Belfast, including last year's takeover of the Limelight complex.
In the online statement they said they were already working on "some new projects" which they expect to announce soon.
