New Eco Pop Up Venue In Belfast Opens
A new pop up venue has opened in Corporation Street, Belfast.
Belfast Contained is a new eco venue, which is the brainchild of the Square Pit Collaborative, the same team behind the successful T13 skateboard park.
Belfast Contained is a creative hub for culture and commerce and will host an eclectic mix of events before Christmas.
Supported by Belfast City Council, Belfast Contained is set to become the most talked about venue in the heart of Belfast.
Gary Flynn, Director of Belfast Contained said: "The Belfast Contained project is a monumental opportunity for the City. Belfast will be brought to life through a dynamic program of events, gatherings and experiences taking place between the acclaimed T13 hub and Contained. The Belfast Contained pop up village is totally unique in that it has been created using recycled shipping containers and other recycled material.
"We have developed a new operating framework within which this project will be developed, programmed, operated and reviewed namely focusing on regeneration, consultation, collaboration and sustainability. We are also proud that Belfast City Council has backed us and look forward to the events ahead."
