Police in separate burglary appeals
Police are appealing for information following two separate burglary attempts in Belfast and Lisburn last night.
In Lisburn a 91-year-old was for shock in hospital for shock after three men broke into her home the Hillhall Road area.
The men forced their way in through the woman's front door before ransacking the rooms. One of the men then held his hand over her face. He is described as being of stocky build, was wearing a mask, baseball cap and brown top. Another man was described as being around 20-years-old, 5'10' in height and was also wearing a baseball cap, as was a third man.
The men left empty handed soon afterwards and are believed to have escaped in a car.
Meanwhile in north Belfast, a house in the Skegoneill area was broken into shortly before midnight.
The men gained entry to the house by removing a rear window. They also smashed a rear sensor light.
While nothing was taken from the house police are keen to chase the movements of three men who were spotted in an old style four door car at the time of the incident. The vehicle was seen driving off the direction of the Shore Road.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Police Appeal After Man Attacked In Co Antrim
Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The assault happened in the North Road area at around 3.30am on Sunday, 29 January. A gang of four or five men attacked the victim, aged 37. He was taken to hospital where his condition has been described as "serious".
