Two Charged With Murdering Owen Creaney
Two people have been charged with the murder of Owen Creaney.
Mr Creaney, 40, who has been described as "frail and vulnerable" by police, was found in a wheelie bin at a property in the Craigavon area on Saturday (5 July).
Following the discovery, detectives arrested a man, aged 27, and a 23-year-old woman in connection with the incident. Police have since confirmed that the two, named as Stephen Hughes and Shauneen Boyle, have now been charged with murder.
They both appeared at Craigavon Magistrates Court today (8 July).
Mr Creaney is said to have suffered a "serious and sustained attack". He was killed on Wednesday, but his body was not discovered until Saturday following a tip-off. He was found inside a wheelie bin which was on the porch of Mr Hughes' home.
On Tuesday, a judge refused bail for the pair. They have both been remanded in custody and will appear in court again later this month.

Alleged Stab Death Man Remanded
There was no application for bail as the man accused of the fatal stabbing of another man while at a house party this week in Co Fermanagh appeared in court. Gary Philip Moane, 34, from Lisolvan Park in Brookeborough, County Fermanagh was remanded in custody until 16 August when he will appear via video link at Enniskillen Magistrates court.

Two men have appeared in court in Belfast today charged with the murder of a pensioner. David Taggart, 22, from Riga Street, Belfast, and Michael Anthony McDonnell, 23, from Delhi Street, Belfast, both deny killing Lawrence Flanagan at his Ormeau Road home in 2001.
