Man And Woman Arrested Over North Belfast Hate Crime
Police have arrested a man and woman on suspicion of criminal damage in connection with an attack on a house in the Woodvale area of Belfast.
A number of windows at the front of the house in Broom Street in the north of the city were smashed at about 20:40 on Monday night.
It is understood that the couple who live at the house are originally from Hungary. Police are treating the attack as racially motivated.
A 50-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the attack.

Men Arrested In Connection With Right-Wing Extremism Released
Four men arrested in connection with right-wing extremism have been released. The men, aged 29, 30, 36 and 46, were arrested following house searches in Ballymena and Coleraine on Wednesday, 26 October. The men have been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a suspected arson attack at a Sinn Féin office building on the Andersonstown Road in west Belfast in the early hours of this morning, Monday 20 August. Issuing the appeal, Inspector McCullough said: "The fire was reported to us at around 4:50am.

Belfast Hotel Plan Dropped: Report
A government-supported plan to build a hotel in central Belfast has been scrapped, the BBC has reported. Back in 2007, the Department for Social Development appointed Tullymore House Ltd as preferred developer for Armagh House in the city’s Ormeau Avenue, with plans to convert the building into an upmarket hotel.
