NI Hotel Federation launches new website
The Northern Ireland Hotels Federation is set to launch its new website next week aimed at increasing the awareness of local hotels on the internet as well as benefiting hoteliers and tourists alike.
The new-look website has been developed along with sites for 20 hotels and guesthouses in Northern Ireland and represents the culmination of a 25 week project which also aims to increase the awareness of internet technology amongst those in the Northern Ireland hotel and guesthouse sector.
Commenting on the project, John Mooney, President of the NIHF, said: “The E-commerce Development Programme has allowed NIHF members to pool their expertise and information regarding their services. This will enhance members’ communication with each other and with their target markets throughout the world.
"The launch of the new websites will undoubtedly benefit the entire hospitality industry and we hope its success will be evident in an increase in the number of visitors to our premises.”
The new NIHF site, www.nihf.co.uk, will feature a wealth of information on the Northern Ireland hospitality and tourism industry, including a room-booking facility, an exclusive member’s area, and links to all member hotels, guesthouses and trade partners.
