Titan IC Announces 18 New Jobs
Titan IC Systems in Belfast is being assisted by Invest Northern Ireland to invest £1.4 million to commercialise its leading-edge silicon technology and provide up to 18 new jobs for software and hardware engineers.
Invest NI has offered the company over £550,000 towards its product development and marketing activities and support the recruitment of 15 of the new jobs. Invest NI's assistance is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
Brian Dolaghan, Invest NI Executive Director of Business and Sector Development, announcing support for the company, said: "This investment will enable Titan IC to harness the commercial potential of world class content and network processing technology for faster and safer internet operations.
"This innovation-led business has already gained an impressive international reputation as being at the forefront of effective cyber security systems and has attracted consultancy and engineering commissions from other global industry leaders.
"Our support will enable the company to develop its products further and to market its intellectual property internationally. This investment will provide significant benefits for the local economy, especially through the provision of high quality employment for highly qualified design engineers."
