NI Tourism Figures Increase
The number of tourists visiting Northern Ireland has increased five per cent compared to the same period last year.
Spending has also increased by ten per cent, according to new figures.
The information is based on trips made by overnight tourists from Great Britain and overseas, Republic of Ireland as well as NI residents taking overnight trips within NI (Domestic Tourism).
When visits by NI residents are excluded, the number of external visitors increased by one per cent with associated expenditure increasing by nine per cent when compared to the same period in 2013.

People in the Northern Ireland are more concerned about money than anywhere else in the country according to Samaritans' annual worries survey 2012. An exclusive YouGov poll for Samaritans shows that 66 per cent of Northern Irish people placed worries about money in their top five, and 17 per cent above the UK average.
