Woman Bailed Over £80k Drug Seizure
A woman has been bailed after being detained by detectives investigating the seizure of £80,000 of drugs in County Down earlier this week.
In a PSNI search of commercial premises in Conlig, County Down on Monday, officers uncovered suspected amphetamines, cocaine, ecstasy tablets, a bulking agent and drugs paraphernalia.
Detectives from the Organised Crime Branch then made the arrest on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old woman was questioned at Bangor police station, but has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Many Arrests In Gardaí Drugs Raids
A total of 45 people have been arrested in the past 48 hours in Gardaí a crackdown on the sale and supply of heroin and 'crack' cocaine in the Dublin region. The operation, which involved Garda drug units from Kevin Street, Pearse Street and Store Street stations, resulted in 150 charges being brought, according to Gardaí this morning.

NI Drug Deaths Double
The number of drug related deaths registered each year has more than doubled over the last decade rising from 39 deaths in 1997 to 86 last year. The 86 fatalities were registered in Northern Ireland where the cause of death was drug related, either due to legal or illegal drugs.

Three Charged Over Sudden Deaths In Lisburn
Three people have been charged following an investigation into the sudden deaths of two men in the Lisburn area, in May and August of 2023. A 35-year-old woman has been charged with a number of drug-related offences, including being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, and administering poison to aggrieve.
