Death Threats Lifted Against Community Wardens
Dissident republican death threats made against community support workers at Derry City Council have been lifted.
It is understood the trade union NIPSA has confirmed that threats, made on two separate occasions against the council's community workers, have now been lifted.
Eleven community safety wardens were immediately taken off duty following the first threats on Tuesday of last week.
The threats claimed the wardens had worked too closely with police.

Threats Issued To Derry Parking Wardens
Threats made against traffic wardens and TV licensing workers in Londonderry have been described as "despicable" by the PSNI. A letter detailing the threat was left at Long Tower church in the city at the weekend. It was issued by a group calling itself the Bogside Republican Action Group.

SF Cllr Receives Death Threats
A Sinn Féin councillor has received death threats in west Belfast. The threats made to Cllr Stephen Magennis were directly linked to his work as a public representative, keeping local residents informed and safe following a security alert in the area on Sunday. Sinn Féin MLA Jennifer McCann condemned the threats.

Jewish Community In Belfast Receives Anti-Sematic Threats
A Jewish community in Belfast has received anti-Semitic threats on Facebook. The Belfast Jewish Community is reviewing its security measures as a result of the threats. The group said the messages were "vile and hateful". Robert Foster, the Ulster Unionist Party's North Belfast candidate, described the threats as "disgraceful".

Drugs Gang Behind Bangor Gun Attack
A violent drug gang are thought to be behind last night's attack on a house in Bangor, Co Down. It is alleged the same group has issued more than a dozen death threats to community workers in the area within the past month. Shots were fired at an empty house on the Bloomfield estate at around 8pm last night.
