Ice Warning For NI
A 'yellow' ice warning has been put in place for tomorrow, by the UK Met Office.
Widespread icy patches are expected to develop during Friday morning and the public has been told to be aware of the risk of ice on untreated surfaces following overnight rain.
The warning is valid from 05:00 on Friday until 10:00.
The Chief Forecaster said: "A band of rain will move east across northwestern UK during Thursday evening and Friday morning. Clear skies will follow allowing surfaces to fall below freezing, giving a risk of ice on untreated surfaces."
Met Éireann said rain would extend eastwards across Northern Ireland to all parts early tonight. It said some rain, hail and sleet showers will affect the west and northwest around dawn. Lows of -1 to +3 Celsius with a slight ground frost and a risk of icy patches.
