Portrush house fire claims life of householder
A man in his 50s has died following a fire at his home on the north Antrim coast last night.
The alarm was raised at around 9.30pm last night after a fire was spotted at the flat at Dhu Varren, just outside Portrush. A number of fire crews where called to the scene to tackle the blaze.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.

Missing teenager found 'safe and well'
A Co Antrim teenager who went missing from her home last week has been found, police have said. Emma Wilson, 15, went missing from her home in Dhu Varren, Portrush, on October 6. At the time, detectives said they believed she may have been abducted after she was last seen boarding a train to Belfast with an older man on Tuesday.

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

House And Car Damaged By Gang Believed To Be Armed With Sledgehammers
Police have launched an investigation after a house and car were damaged by a gang, believed to have been armed with sledgehammers, in north Belfast. The incident happened at residential premises in the Dhu Varren Parade area at around 10.30pm on Friday, 10 November. No-one was injured in the incident.

Two Men Released Over Portrush Assault
Two men arrested over an assault at a house in Portrush on New Year's Day have been released on bail. The attack happened just before 3am in the Dhu Varren Park area. A 44-year-old man was left with a suspected broken arm and a 69-year-old male was treated in hospital for cuts to his head.
