Viable Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been found in north Belfast, police have confirmed.
Police and army bomb experts discovered the device in the garden of a house in Shore Crescent on Monday.
The pipe bomb has been removed for further examination.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Weekend Bomb Attacks Condemned
A spate of bomb attacks over the weekend has been condemned by the First and deputy First Minister and parties across the political spectrum. A police patrol was attacked with a pipe bomb in County Tyrone on Saturday. A security alert began in the Ballycolman estate, Strabane, at about 20:25, following news that something had been thrown at police.

A viable pipe bomb caused an explosion at a house in west Belfast, police have confirmed. The incident happened at the rear of a property in the Creeslough Court area just after 8pm on Wednesday, 07 February. No-one was injured in the incident. A number of items have been removed for further examination.

PSNI Appeal For Information On Newtownabbey Security Alert
The Alliance Party has condemned those behind a viable pipe bomb found during a recent security alert in Newtownabbey. A suspicious object was discovered in the garden of a home at Arthur Avenue on Sunday, 06 May. A number of homes in the area were evacuated while police investigated the device.

Police have declared a security alert in Londonderry was the result of a "viable pipe bomb type device". The alert began with reports of a "loud bang" outside a house in Bann Drive at about 11.15pm on Tuesday, 17 July. It is understood that a man and woman were in the house at the time of the incident but escaped uninjured.
