Pensioner Left 'Badly Shaken' Following Burglary In Limavady

An elderly man has been left badly shaken after a gang of thugs burgled his home in Limavady, Co L'Derry.

Three men forced their way into the property on Thackery Place on Thursday evening.

The victim, believed to be in his 80s, was not injured in the incident.

The gang of men made off with a sum of cash.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

Armed gang kidnap Strabane family
An armed gang held a family hostage in their Co Tyrone home and forced a man to hand over the weekend takings from a shop, this morning. Three masked men forced their way into the house in the Ballycolman area in Strabane and confronted the family.

Shop Worker Attacked In L'Derry
Police are appealing for information after a shop worker was attacked and threatened in L'Derry. The incident happened at a shop on the Temple Road in Strathfoyle Village at around 9.30pm on Saturday, 14 July. The worker was hit on the head and threatened at knifepoint. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene.

Three Men Tied Up During Aggravated Burglary In Omagh
Three men have been left badly shaken after they were tied up during a burglary in Omagh. The aggravated burglary occurred in the Tattysallagh Road area between 10pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday, 17 April. Four masked men broke into a house and tied up the victims. They ransacked the property and made off with a sum of cash.
