Shop Worker Attacked In L'Derry
Police are appealing for information after a shop worker was attacked and threatened in L'Derry.
The incident happened at a shop on the Temple Road in Strathfoyle Village at around 9.30pm on Saturday, 14 July.
The worker was hit on the head and threatened at knifepoint. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene.
Other staff members were not injured but were left badly shaken.
Two masked men fled the scene with a sum of cash.
A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

A man held the knife to a member of staff and demanded her to open the till. He left the shop and also threatened another worker.

A masked man has threatened a shop worker in north Belfast with a hammer. The attacker was wearing a balaclava when he entered the shop on Cavehill Road at about 21:45 on Friday night. The man ordered the staff member to empty the till. Then, shortly thereafter two men attempted to rob a pub on the Antrim Road.

Belfast Shop Worker Threatened With Suspected Firearm
A shop worker has been threatened with a suspected firearm during a robbery in North Belfast. It happened on Sunday evening, 21 July, on the Antrim Road shortly after 7.30pm. It was reported to police that the man waited in line to be served and then moved towards the staff member pointing the weapon towards her and demanding money from the till.

Businesses Damaged By Blaze In Portstewart
An investigation has launched after a number of businesses were damaged by a blaze in The Diamond in Portstewart. The alarm was raised at 5am on Monday, however fire crews were called back at around 9.30am. A chip shop, coffee shop and hairdressers were damaged as a result. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.

A woman has been attacked with pepper spray in an incident in Strabane, Co Tyrone. The woman was working in the takeaway restaurant when a man entered the premises shortly after 8pm on Wednesday and demanded money. It is understood he was also armed with a knife. After he demanded money to be handed over, he used the pepper spray on the woman.
