Belfast Met Facing Job Cuts
Belfast Metropolitan College might be forced to cut up to 113 jobs following a reduction to its budget.
It is understood that Unite members at the college have been told that between 83 and 113 jobs are expected to be cut to cope with new budgetary demands.
The college has called the redundancies a "challenging but nonetheless unavoidable implication of the public-sector budget cuts".
Detailed work is "ongoing and we cannot as yet provide final numbers" the college added.
