Viable Pipe Bomb Found In Dunmurry
A viable pipe bomb has been discovered during a security alert in west Belfast, police have confirmed.
It was found at Teeling Avenue in Dunmurry.
A resident is believed to have found the device outside his home .
Police and army bomb experts attended the scene.
The Sally Gardens Community Centre was available for residents to use.
All of the roads have been reopened.

PSNI Appeal For Information On Newtownabbey Security Alert
The Alliance Party has condemned those behind a viable pipe bomb found during a recent security alert in Newtownabbey. A suspicious object was discovered in the garden of a home at Arthur Avenue on Sunday, 06 May. A number of homes in the area were evacuated while police investigated the device.

Viable Pipe Bomb Found In North Belfast
A viable pipe bomb has been found in north Belfast, police have confirmed. Police and army bomb experts discovered the device in the garden of a house in Shore Crescent on Monday. The pipe bomb has been removed for further examination. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A viable bomb has been discovered in south Belfast. The PSNI received reports that a suspicious object was found in the Markets area shortly after 11pm on Thursday, 09 February. Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and made the device safe.

Suspect package declared a hoax
A suspect device found in north Belfast on Friday has been declared a hoax. The package was discovered at a telephone control box on Glenview Street. Army bomb experts were immediately called in and the area between Old Park Road and Park View Court was immediately sealed off. It has since been reopened.

Weekend Bomb Attacks Condemned
A spate of bomb attacks over the weekend has been condemned by the First and deputy First Minister and parties across the political spectrum. A police patrol was attacked with a pipe bomb in County Tyrone on Saturday. A security alert began in the Ballycolman estate, Strabane, at about 20:25, following news that something had been thrown at police.
