SDLP To Invest In Neglected Areas Throughout NI
The SDLP is to invest in neglected areas throughout Northern Ireland to attract more investors.
Mid Ulster Westminster candidate Cllr Malachy Quinn said the SDLP is aiming to rebalance the economy.
He said: "I'm very proud that the SDLP's central pledge at this election is the creation of a Prosperity Process to build on the foundations of peace. Our economy was held back for forty years by those who tried to shoot and bomb their way to political goals. Now it’s being held back by political instability and those who, having reached government, have no idea how to govern.
"The SDLP is setting out a road map to fiscal self determination and prosperity for everyone here. Key to that is the need to rebalance the economy so that investment isn’t exclusive to Belfast but redistributed throughout struggling communities across the North."
