Pipe bomb attack on Armagh home
Police are appealing for information following a pipe bomb attack at a house in Co Armagh early this morning.
The exploding device caused scorch damage to the front window sill of the home in the Faugh-a-Ballath area of Armagh City at around 1.30am. No one was injured in the attack.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police in Armagh on 028 3752 3311.
Elsewhere, a man has been shot in a paramilitary-style attack in east Belfast last night. The man suffered gun shot wounds to both ankles and elbows during the attack off Beechfield Street on Monday evening.

Man shot during paramilitary style attack
Police have appealed for information following a paramilitary-style attack in County Armagh yesterday evening. A police spokesperson said that a man walking through a subway close to the Niall's Crescent area of Armagh city just before 11pm, was accosted by around five masked men who grabbed the victim and proceeded to shoot him once in each leg.

Three men have been charged following violent disturbances in County Armagh last night Police came under petrol bomb attack when they moved in to the centre of Lurgan where crowds were hurling missiles and setting bins on fire and blocking the road with them.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Woman Beaten While Walking To Her Car In Portadown
A woman has been beaten on the head with a stick or bat while walking to her car in Portadown. The attack took place in the Lisnisky Lodge area of the County Armagh town at around 7am on Tuesday 18 December. The victim was struck from behind and fell to the ground.

Man Shot Dead In West Belfast
Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in west Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Glenwood Court, Poleglass, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, 20 October. He has been named locally as Joe Reilly, aged 43.
