Sale Process For Shackleton Begins
The sale process for Shackleton, the former military base at Ballykelly, has started.
The First Minister and deputy First Minister welcomed the news and said it presents a "unique opportunity for investors to maximise the site's potential".
First Minister Peter Robinson said: "This site is a significant asset and we must through this sale maximise the benefits so it can deliver not just to Ballykelly but all the people of the North West."
Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness said: "The Shackleton site is one of massive potential. We are determined it will create and sustain jobs in the area and deliver a range of short and long term economic benefits for the people of the North West.
"Potential purchasers of the Shackleton site will need to clearly demonstrate how their plans will not just create jobs but deliver community and environmental benefits. With DARD's headquarter relocation plans well underway, it is an exciting time for Ballykelly and the North West."
Lambert Smith Hampton is marketing the site on behalf of OFMDFM.

Attempted Carjacking In West Belfast
Police are investigating an attempted carjacking in west Belfast on Tuesday, November 19th. At around 5:30pm, a man entered a parked car at Hillhead Court and attempted to steal it. A woman passenger was assaulted when she resisted the man's demands. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s wearing all black, fled the scene on foot.

Ministers Agree To Sell Shackleton Site To MJM Group
The First Minister and deputy First Minister have confirmed they have decided to sell the Shackleton site, the former military base in Ballykelly, L'Derry, to the MJM Group. The firm plans to create over 100 jobs initially on the 621.5 acre site.

Politicians Help 'Kick Hate Into Touch'
An innovative campaign, the 'Unite Against Hate' sporting weekend has been launched. Stormont First Minister Peter Robinson and his Junior Minister Gerry Kelly (pictured) joined forces to support the campaign which highlights all forms of hate crime and challenges people here to unite to stop it.

A Lisburn Assemblyman has slammed the NI Environment Minister's review of listed structures at Long Kesh as a 'publicity stunt'. Sinn Féin's Paul Butler accused Sammy Wilson (pictured) of publicity seeking over moves to review the listed status of the buildings at the former Maze prison.
