Two Men To Appear In Court Charged With Interface Trouble

Two men are due to appear in court today, 07 July, charged with interface trouble in east Belfast.

The men, aged 17 and 21, have been accused of a number of public order offences including riotous behaviour.

The charges relate to recent incidents of disorder at interface areas, according to the police.

The PSNI has issued a warning to the young people of Belfast after trouble at various interface areas across the city. It follows a number of incidents on Sunday night, 06 January. Police were called to Carlisle Circus and the Girdwood site in north Belfast.
