Co Armagh Swimmer Scoops Two Bronze Medals At Special Olympic World Games

County Armagh swimmer, Sarah Jane Johnson, has won two bronze medals in the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles.

She scooped the medals in both the 100m Freestyle and 100m Backstroke.

SDLP Sports Spokesperson Karen McKevitt said everyone is "doing Ireland proud".

Ms McKevitt said: "Sarah Jane along with everyone representing Ireland in LA this summer are doing their country very proud.

"Their increasing medal tally is testament to the months of hard work, training and dedication on the part of the athletes and their coaching teams. They have shown the world that Irish sportsmen and women are up there with the best and can achieve greatness."
