Farming Union To Meet Supermarkets Over Price
Representatives of the Ulster Farmers' Union are to meet with its counterparts from across the UK at an "urgent summit" amid ongoing mild price protests.
The protests have seen local farmers gather at Stormont and removing milk from supermarket shelves.
Farmers claim that they are being paid lass that the cost of milk production.
The UK's four main farming unions are to meet with supermarket chaim, Morrisons, to discuss pricing.

OFT to audit supermarkets in review of code of practice
The OFT's review of the Supermarkets Code of Practice, published today, found a widespread belief among suppliers that the Code is not working effectively. However, the review found "no hard evidence" to support this opinion and the OFT will therefore commission further work to establish how supermarkets deal with suppliers under the Code.
