Police Launch Appeal For Missing Man
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for missing man Declan Mawhinney.
Mr Mawhinney, 46, was last seen in Letterkenny on Saturday at approximately 11.40pm.
A missing person appeal has been launched by the police and his family.
Inspector Gibson said: "Mr Mawhinney is described as being approximately 5'6" tall, of heavy build and has short dark brown hair.
"He is believed to be wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, black jacket and black shoes.
"I would ask Declan, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, to contact police on the non-emergency number 101."

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police in Downpatrick are appealing for help to trace a missing 15-year-old boy. Declan Dobbin, who has been missing since Saturday 22 August, was last seen in the Down area at around 6.30pm after visiting friends. When last seen he was wearing a dark top and grey converse tracksuit bottoms.
