Suspicious Package Found At Royal Mail 'Nothing Harmful'
A suspicious package found at the Royal Mail sorting office on Newtownabbey is "nothing harmful", police have confirmed.
Police, the Northern Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Army bomb disposal experts were called to the scene at Enterprise Way in Mallusk after a package containing white powder was discovered.
A Royal Mail spokesperson said: "The building was not evacuated but the yard was cordoned off for a period of time, which may have a slight impact on our collection and sorting operations. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."

Action Fraud has issued a warning over a fraud involving fake Royal Mail missed delivery cards. It is understood that 'something for you' cards are being posted through letterboxes claiming that a delivery couldn't be made.

Letter Bombs 'Addressed To NI Prison'
Two letter bombs have been discovered at different postal sorting offices in Northern Ireland. Within the space of 24 hours, the devices were found at Royal Mail sorting offices in Londonderry and Lisburn. It is believed the two packages had been addressed to Maghaberry Prison.
