Man Armed With Hurley Bat Robs Bar In Dunmurry

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a bar in the Dunmurry area in the early hours of Monday morning.

The incident occurred at premises on the Glenburn Road at approximately 12.30am.

A masked man, armed with a hurley bat, threatened and demanded money from a female staff member.

He made off with a sum of cash.

The staff member was not injured but was left shaken.

The man is described as approximately 6ft tall, of slim build and was wearing a balaclava, dark clothing and white trainers.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Police in west Belfast have appealed for information following an armed robbery at an off-sales yesterday morning. Shortly after 11am, a member of staff was approached by a man armed with a large knife, as he entered the Wineflair shop on the Andersonstown Road in the west of the city.

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in south Belfast. The incident happened at a fast food restaurant in the Botanic Avenue area in the early hours of Tuesday morning. A man hit a female member of staff with a hammer before making off with a sum of money and another staff member's mobile phone.

Armed robbery of shop in Antrim
Police in Antrim are appealing for information following a robbery in the town on Sunday. Shortly before 5pm two masked men entered a shop in the Parkhall estate where they confronted members of staff. They then forced the staff to hand over a substantial sum of cash before making off on foot.

Man With 'Sharp Object' Linked To South Belfast Armed Robberies
Police are appealing for information after reports of two armed robberies in south Belfast. Both incidents took place on the evening of Tuesday 12 February. Shortly after 7.20pm police were contacted with reports of a man wearing a scarf around his face and armed with a sharp object who entered a shop in Botanic Avenue.
