Armed robbery of shop in Antrim
Police in Antrim are appealing for information following a robbery in the town on Sunday.
Shortly before 5pm two masked men entered a shop in the Parkhall estate where they confronted members of staff. They then forced the staff to hand over a substantial sum of cash before making off on foot.
Both thieves wore dark coloured clothing and balaclavas with one being described as being tall, well built and with blue eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at Antrim on 028 9446 3555 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Elsewhere, detectives in Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a shopping centre in the west of the city on Saturday morning.
Shortly after 10.15am two masked men, each armed with handguns and a crowbar, entered a travel agents shop and ordered the staff to lie on the floor.
A large sum of cash was then taken before the pair made off in a waiting silver Ford Focus car. The vehicle had been hijacked at another shopping centre in West Belfast on Thursday evening and was last seen heading towards the Donegall Road before being recovered in the Beechview Park area of Whiterock.
Police have appealed to anyone who was on the Donegall Road at around 10am on Saturday and witnessed any suspicious activity to contact them on 028 9065 0222.

Businesses Damaged By Blaze In Portstewart
An investigation has launched after a number of businesses were damaged by a blaze in The Diamond in Portstewart. The alarm was raised at 5am on Monday, however fire crews were called back at around 9.30am. A chip shop, coffee shop and hairdressers were damaged as a result. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.

Man With 'Sharp Object' Linked To South Belfast Armed Robberies
Police are appealing for information after reports of two armed robberies in south Belfast. Both incidents took place on the evening of Tuesday 12 February. Shortly after 7.20pm police were contacted with reports of a man wearing a scarf around his face and armed with a sharp object who entered a shop in Botanic Avenue.

Stolen Car Rams Shop In Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a stolen car rammed into the shutters of a shop in the Wellington Place area of Belfast in the early hours of Sunday morning. A white Volkswagen Passat, which had earlier been stolen from the Bangor area, drove into the shutter of the shop at approximately 3.30am.

The armed male entered the shop and demanded money from a member of staff while threatening them with a claw hammer.
