Two Pipe Bombs Found In Co Antrim
Two pipe bombs have been found following two explosions in Ahoghill, Co Antrim.
The explosive devices went off at two separate addresses in the Brookfield Gardens area at around 2am on Thursday.
There were no reports of any injuries, however the front of one of the properties was damaged.
Residents were evacuated from their homes and bomb disposal experts examined the scene.
TUV Cllr Alderman Stewart McDonald condemned the attack.
He said: "Those who carried out this attack should be ashamed and the full weight of the law should come down on them.
"Fortunately, there have been no injuries. I have been with those evacuated from their homes from 3am this morning, and I am proud of how the community has come together in the face of such adversity."
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

PSNI Confirms Flag Violence Arrests
The PSNI has confirmed a total of eight arrests were made as a result of disorder over the Belfast City Hall union flag issue. Three police officers were injured when missiles ranging from petrol bombs, paint bombs, fireworks and heavy masonry were thrown by loyalist protesters. PSNI vehicles were attacked with hatchets and sledge hammers.

Four freed in Claudy investigation
Four people arrested in connection with inquiries into an IRA bomb attack in Claudy, Co Londonderry in 1972 have been released without charge. Police confirmed on Wednesday evening, that all four people, including Sinn Fein MLA Francie Brolly, had been freed and a report was being prepared for submission to the Public Prosecution Service.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a serious arson attack in the Clon Dara area of L'Derry on Saturday, 23 November. Shortly before 8.20pm, police received a report that an accelerant had been used to ignite the front door and letterbox of a house in the area.

Police Appeal After Arson Attack In Newtownards
Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Four Suspected Pipe Bombs Recovered In Creggan Operation
Four suspected pipe bombs have been recovered by police from inside the City Cemetery in Creggan, L'Derry, following a public safety operation on Tuesday 11th April. The operation was implemented following the discovery of a suspected pipe bomb in the cemetery just after 6.30am yesterday morning.
