David Healy Appointed New Linfield Manager
Former Northern Ireland striker David Healy has been appointed the manager of Linfield football club.
Healy, 36, has signed a two and a half year contract.
Healy will succeed Warren Feeney who resigned to take on the assistant manager's post at Newport County.
Healy scored 36 goals for Northern Ireland and retired from professional football in 2013.
He told the Linfield website: "It's an honour and privilege for me to be manager of this football club.
"When Linfield approached me, there was only going to be one answer and that was yes.
"To me Windsor Park was my Wembley and to come back here as manager… I just can't wait to get started."

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland
Work has begun at several hospital sites across Northern Ireland as part of the preparations for the introduction of free car parking in May 2026. Health and Social Care Trusts have been actively preparing for the implementation of a new traffic management system since the Hospital Parking Charges Act was passed in 2022.
