London Firm To Establish Offices In Belfast
Clarus Financial Technology, a London-based Fintech company, is establishing a research and development centre in Belfast with support from Invest Northern Ireland, creating 15 new jobs.
The company operates in international capital markets and provides data, analytics and research services to its customers who include investment banks, hedge funds, regulators and brokers from the USA, GB and Europe.
Invest NI's Executive Director of International Business, Bill Scott, said: "Clarus is expanding its team to meet an anticipated increase in demand for its services, and has chosen Northern Ireland as the optimum location in which to grow its business. The company operates in a niche area and its presence in Belfast will introduce new skills to Northern Ireland’s IT and Financial Services sectors.
"The 15 new jobs will pay above the Northern Ireland private sector median and offer technology and business analytics graduates the opportunity to gain excellent experience servicing top level companies."
To support the investment, Invest NI has offered Clarus Financial Technology an employment grant of £75,000.
