Four Arrested On Suspicion Of Supplying Heroin

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of supplying heroin.

The four suspects, aged 24, 30, 40 and 54, were arrested in the Antrim Road area on Monday.

A small quantity of heroin, a sum of cash and suspected false identity documents were also recovered. The four suspects are being detained at Musgrave police station.

Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop said: "Heroin is a deadly substance which devastates families and wrecks lives. Police are responding to community concerns about the incidence of this drug and are taking appropriate action.

"To those people who may have a heroin dependency, I would urge them to seek help from our statutory and voluntary partners.

"To the general community, I would again appeal for information on those suspected of involvement in the supply of all controlled drugs. Please phone the police on 101 or, alternatively, phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
