Police attacked during separate trouble in Co Down
Police in Downpatrick are appealing for information after two officers were attacked outside a bar in the Co Down town last night.
One of the officers was punched in the face while another was hit on the head with a bottle during the disturbance in Market Street at around midnight on Sunday.
One man was arrested following the incident.
Elsewhere, police were attacked by a crowd of around 30 people during the early hours of Sunday morning in Banbridge.
The trouble is believed to have started after a fight broke out at a local nightclub in the town. When police went in to break up the trouble they were attacked by the crowd.
Two men, aged 21 and 23, were subsequently arrested for disorderly behaviour.
No officers were injured during the disturbances.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Petrol Bombs And Improvised Devices Thrown At Police In L'Derry
Over 70 petrol bombs and two improvised devices were thrown at police officers in L'Derry on Thursday, 12 July. The PSNI were forced to fire plastic baton rounds in response to the trouble. Makeshift barricades were also set alight on a number of roads. Three men, aged 18, 22 and 50 were arrested.

Poles Plead Guilty To Disorderly Charges
Three Polish men have pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly behaviour following football skirmishes in Belfast at the weekend. Tomasz Bobrowicz, 30, from Suffolk, England; Przemyslaw Pawel Kusmierczyk, 28, from Liverpool; and Lukasz Szwajda, 22, from London appeared before a magistrate earlier today charged in relation to football violence.

Police Attacked In Londonderry
Police have again come under attack during disturbances in Londonderry on Thursday night. Trouble broke out at about 8.00pm on Thursday in Magazine Street and no officers were injured. Officers were confronted by a gang of youths throwing bricks and bottles and a number of parked vehicles were damaged during the trouble.

Police officers injured in north Belfast trouble
Eighteen police officers have been injured during disturbances between rival factions in north Belfast on Sunday. The trouble started just before 4pm when, it is understood, a number of people clashed on the Crumlin Road, following the outcome of the Scottish Premier League which saw Rangers clinch the title ahead of Old Firm rivals Celtic.
