Woman Attacked By Armed Masked Men In North Belfast

A 24-year-old woman has been attacked by a group of armed masked men in north Belfast.

The incident happened at a house on Greenland Street at around 9.30pm on Thursday.

Four men, one of which is believed to have been armed with a gun and the others with baseball bats, forced their way into the house and assaulted the woman who was upstairs at the time.

A man, 25, who was also in the house at the time escaped through a window.

Police would like to speak to anyone who can help them identify a dark-coloured Volkswagon saloon-type vehicle that was in the area at the time, or for anyone with information to contact them.
