Young Girl Approached In L'Derry

Police are appealing for information after a young girl was approached by men in a van in L'Derry.

The incident happened in the Creggan area at around 4.15pm on Wednesday.

The nine-year-old girl was walking in the Creggan area when a white van pulled up beside her.

One of the three men asked her to get in, however the girl refused and ran home.

Police have issued a warning to parents and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Three Teenagers Arrested Over Co Antrim Murder
Police investigating the murder of Nelson Cheung in Co Antrim earlier this month have arrested a three teenage girls. Mr Cheung, 65, died after he was stabbed in an attack on the Caddy Road on 8 January. It is understood Mr Cheung and his wife were attacked after their car was forced off the road.

Road crash claims three lives in Armagh
A road accident in County Armagh has claimed the lives of three people. The crash happened at the junction of Newtownhamilton Road and Keady Road in Armagh, and involved an Isuzu Trooper vehicle and an articulated lorry. Two men and a woman were killed in the accident which happened at about 12.30pm on Thursday.
