Two Arrested After Drugs Seized In Co Armagh
Two people have been arrested after police seized drugs, worth an estimated street value of over £1,300, in Co Armagh.
Suspected cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy were discovered during two house searches in Markethill on Thursday night.
A 36-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested for possession of Class A and B drugs, possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of drugs.
They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "We hope this sends a clear message to the community in Markethill that we are committed to addressing crime in whatever form it appears. Our investigations, enquiries and efforts may not always be obvious or apparent but you can rest assured that we are continually taking steps to reduce crime and prevent, detect and deter criminal activity."

A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs in west Belfast. Police carried out searches in the Ladybrook area and Ormeau Avenue on Wednesday, 07 June. The 30-year-old suspect was arrested and questioned, however he has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
