Armed Man Robs Takeaway In Larne
Police have launched an investigation following an armed robbery at a takeaway in Co Antrim.
The incident happened at premises on the Upper Cairncastle Road in Larne at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.
A man, armed with a suspected gun, entered the shop and made off with a sum of cash.
The two staff members were left shaken, however they were not injured.
The man is described as being aged in his late teens or early 20s, about 5ft 8inches tall and of medium build. He was wearing a black scarf over his face, a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms and latex gloves.
Detective Sergeant Crothers said: "I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Larne Police Station on the non emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

PSNI 'Increasingly Concerned' For Missing North Belfast Man
The PSNI are increasingly concerned for a missing north Belfast man who may have travelled towards Larne. 39-year-old C Brady was last seen in the Skegoniel area at around 5.30pm on 05 January. He is believed to have travelled towards Larne in a silver Toyota Yaris, registration number FFZ 5221.

A gang of masked men armed with iron bars attacked a man, aged in his 20s, during an aggravated burglary in Larne, Co Antrim. The assault happened at a house in the Sallagh Park area at around 1am on Thursday, 17 November. The gang left the house through the front door, however it is unclear if they made off on foot or in a vehicle.
