Met Office Issues Yellow Weather Warning For Snow And Ice
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice from 3pm today, 14 January, until midday tomorrow.
Sleet and snow showers are to become heavier in the afternoon and are expected to continue throughout the night.
One to four centimetres of snow could accumulate at lower levels with 5 to 10cm on higher ground.
Ice is also most likely to form on untreated surfaces.
Motorists are being urged to drive carefully and to expect some hazardous conditions.
