Oak Furniture Land Pays Cake Tribute To Charity And Hospital
The new Oak Furniture Land store in Belfast paid a cake tribute to the Helping Hand charity and the Royal Belfast Children's Hospital.
The firm took centre stage at the new superstore as the store manager presented them with a cake replica of the Pink Cow, in recognition of the work they do providing care for the children and their families.
Oak Furniture Land commissioned the amazing confectionery creation to thank the local Belfast community for supporting the new store since it opened on Boxing Day, and to show their support for the valuable fundraising work being carried out by Helping Hand to support the Royal Belfast Children's Hospital. The new store which is located on Shane Retail Park, Boucher Road stands at over 12,000sq.ft. and has created fifteen new local jobs.
The new store also features a www.sofastore.com concession with all the latest sofa trends and over 75 different ranges of high quality sofas and over 3,500 colour and size variations to choose from.
Alan Tombs Oak Furniture Land Regional Manager said: "The cake donation is our way of saying a big thank you to the Belfast community for supporting the store since it opened on Boxing Day. We wanted to show our appreciation by supporting a local cause in a different way.
"We are proud to be able to provide the community with a wider choice of furniture stores and we are looking forward to serving them for many years to come. We are hoping that our cake donation will highlight the work that Helping Hand does to support the Royal Belfast Children's Hospital and to get more local people signing up to fundraise or to donate."
